About Me

Having worked in the hospitality industry for over twenty years, the last 14 years as a hotel General Manager, a change in personal circumstances has now allowed me to pursue some of my true loves in life. Being outdoors, getting exercise, pets, and in particular dogs!!

Growing up in The Peak District I have always been surrounded by animals, and growing up always had pets, which has continued right through as an adult. For 10 years I was the loving owner of a beautiful Siberian Husky, and after sadly losing him a few years ago, due to job commitments and a new born in the family, the time has not been right yet to bring another dog into our growing family. We have continued to love and care for pets though, and currently have a gorgeous cat, turtle and fish.

To support this opportunity of doing something I love I have enrolled on two Diploma courses in Canine First Aid and Canine Communication, both of which I will complete by the end of 2024.

With so many years in the hospitality industry I know the meaning of fantastic customer service better than anyone, and the importance of delivering a friendly and personalised experience, all done with a personal touch. All of my hotels have been pet and dog friendly, and having had a dog of my own along with all of my pets, I understand and know how important they are and part the family. That is why it is my mission to give both you and your dogs a memorable experience, and to support you in giving them a healthy and well rounded lifestyle and to live their best life!!

Finally I would like to mention and thank my daughter who pushed me into doing this with her own true love for animals and pets, and has helped create this website along with everything to get the business up and running.
